    The band sets the price, not the colour. Each upholstery option covers one or two Arketipo price categories and is priced at the higher of the two. Once you order, we'll go through Arketipo's fabrics and leathers in your band with you and confirm your exact choice before production starts. If you choose one from the lower-priced category, we refund the difference. Pelle B and Pelle Leonardo leathers are available on request.

    About the design

    Modern design and geometric interactions create a chair that expresses a new wave of formal elegance in furniture craftsmanship. Not unlike a basketball that has been split open, it encompasses a soft leather material that is subsequently stitched into the design providing an aesthetic and sensorial element, wildly contrasting with the three-dimensional metal framed base.

    Materials & specification

    • Structure: metal.
    • Upholstery: cold-expanded polyurethane.
    • Seat height: 46 cm
    • Base: metal, finishes micaceous brown, oxy grey or titanium.
    • Attention: the cover is not removable and it can be made only in leather. Customer own leather: maximum thickness 1,3mm.

    Optional extras (priced on request)

    • Titanium finish
    Delivery & returns

    Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

    UK mainland delivery only.

    Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Arketipo is a Florentine workshop that brings artisan tailoring to contemporary upholstery. Sofas, armchairs and beds are made to order in Florence, with details such as double-faced cushions, zips and raw-cut leather edges finished by hand.

    Working with designers including Mauro Lipparini, Arketipo pieces are built to be configured: choose the model, size and upholstery that suit your room, and each one is made for you.
