About the design

A silent architecture that inhabits space with the grace of a graphic sign: this new bookcase is revealed through a threadlike and vertical design, conceived to act as a sophisticated visual diaphragm. More than a simple container, the element becomes a light membrane capable of defining rooms without ever closing them off, allowing the gaze and light to flow freely. The structure finds its maximum expression in the textural details, where the wooden shelves, finely shaped with a soft soap bar profile, eliminate all edges to embrace a fluid and natural aesthetic. Thanks to its versatile configuration, which allows anchoring from floor to ceiling or from floor to wall, the system lends itself perfectly to live as a protagonist in the center of the room, transforming itself into an ethereal partition that organizes the living room with discreet luxury and timeless rigor.

Materials & specification

• Structure: uprights in micaceous brown or anodized metal, titanium finish; feet and upper supports bronze varnished.
• Shelves: MDF veneered in thermo-treated eucalyptus or carbon black.
• Note: The bookshelf can be fixed to the wall or to the ceiling. The supplied hardware is suitable for both versions.

Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
