    The band sets the price, not the colour. Each upholstery option covers one or two Arketipo price categories and is priced at the higher of the two. Once you order, we'll go through Arketipo's fabrics and leathers in your band with you and confirm your exact choice before production starts. If you choose one from the lower-priced category, we refund the difference. Pelle B and Pelle Leonardo leathers are available on request.

    About the design

    If timeless glamour were an objective, then Auto-Reverse Dream may just be heading for its title. It embodies everything that makes the sofa range so unique, and places it into a new context, the most private in all of our lives: the bedroom. Here we sleep, recharge, dream, find love and enter into a total state of relax, so why can’t we create an environment that befits all of these necessary requirements? We can, and Auto-Reverse assumes the emotional mantra of creating something that stirs all of the emotions; those of design and function, those of endless possibilities and those that are seeking something that becomes a statement to how we can achieve total comfort. The minimal structure, the hand-crafted materials, the reversible cushions and the limitless opportunities to create something unique with stitchings, zips, colour and material choices, all brought across from the stand alone couch design into the bedroom. This is what makes Auto-Reverse Dream a true design reality.

    Materials & specification

    • Structure: metal. Slatted base.
    • Frame padding: non-deformable polyurethane (SR75 + D40 + D18) covered with synthetic lining 150gr and coupled lining 6mm.
    • Head-cushions padding: outer side in 100% white Gabardine 30/20 cotton cover. Filling in 65% goose feathers and 35% duck feathers.
    • Height: 20 cm (slatted base), 30 cm (bedframe).
    • Feet: metal, finishes: micaceous brown, titanium or brass, h.19 cm.
    • Zips: available in the colours of the zip samples.
    • Attention: head cushions are reversible and they can be covered with different fabrics and/or leathers. The cover of the structure is always in the same fabric or leather of one side of the cushions. The grosgrain of the perimeter is in the same colour of the head cushion zip.

    Delivery & returns

    Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

    UK mainland delivery only.

    Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Arketipo is a Florentine workshop that brings artisan tailoring to contemporary upholstery. Sofas, armchairs and beds are made to order in Florence, with details such as double-faced cushions, zips and raw-cut leather edges finished by hand.

    Working with designers including Mauro Lipparini, Arketipo pieces are built to be configured: choose the model, size and upholstery that suit your room, and each one is made for you.
