    The band sets the price, not the colour. Each upholstery option covers one or two Arketipo price categories and is priced at the higher of the two. Once you order, we'll go through Arketipo's fabrics and leathers in your band with you and confirm your exact choice before production starts. If you choose one from the lower-priced category, we refund the difference. Pelle B and Pelle Leonardo leathers are available on request.

    About the design

    Starman Dream: it’s time to think bigger. Connections, (they) are important. They provide an everlasting point between two or more ideas and concepts; these connections make what we do more than just a design principle, they are a reason to punch through our limitations and conceptualise something greater. Starman Dream is where our connection to Starman begins; the bed captures the elements that made the sofa the design feature it has become. Aggressive and powerful contours, curved lines coupled with contrasting material feels and concepts. In short, what we have created are two products with a clear connection to one another, that connection is about interior life and living it uniquely.

    Materials & specification

    • Structure: wood. Slatted base.
    • Structure upholstery: expanded polyurethane T30 covered with coupled synthetic lining 100 gr.
    • Headboard upholstery: expanded polyurethane T18 elastic covered with synthetic lining 380 gr coupled with cotton.
    • Height: 19,5 cm (slatted base), 30 cm (bedframe).
    • Feet: plastic, h. 3 cm (headboard), 19 cm (slatted base).
    Delivery & returns

    Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

    UK mainland delivery only.

    Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Arketipo is a Florentine workshop that brings artisan tailoring to contemporary upholstery. Sofas, armchairs and beds are made to order in Florence, with details such as double-faced cushions, zips and raw-cut leather edges finished by hand.

    Working with designers including Mauro Lipparini, Arketipo pieces are built to be configured: choose the model, size and upholstery that suit your room, and each one is made for you.
