    The band sets the price, not the colour. Each upholstery option covers one or two Arketipo price categories and is priced at the higher of the two. Once you order, we'll go through Arketipo's fabrics and leathers in your band with you and confirm your exact choice before production starts. If you choose one from the lower-priced category, we refund the difference. Pelle B and Pelle Leonardo leathers are available on request.

    About the design

    Take the basic principle of what a chair is, do you have it? It needs to be comfortable, supported, have a style and character that is also unique and even be inspired by something greater… that is what Nascar is about. One look at the back rest and you’d be forgiven for wanting to instantly take a seat. How about the swooping lines, curved arms, a sense of familiarity whilst seated? Did you even notice the legs, maintaining an intrinsic design style that continues with the total aesthetic features of the chair. Everything is created to have a purpose, with Nascar, this is about taking that basic principle of the chair and injecting something completely new into the living space.

    Materials & specification

    • Structure: metal.
    • Back and arm upholstery: cold-expanded polyurethane.
    • Seat upholstery: multi-density non-deformable polyurethane (HR35-36 + NA40031 + NA3615) covered with synthetic lining 180gr.
    • Seat height: 45 cm
    • Feet: metal, finishes: titanium or black nickel or varnished micaceous brown or oxy grey.

    Delivery & returns

    Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

    UK mainland delivery only.

    Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Arketipo is a Florentine workshop that brings artisan tailoring to contemporary upholstery. Sofas, armchairs and beds are made to order in Florence, with details such as double-faced cushions, zips and raw-cut leather edges finished by hand.

    Working with designers including Mauro Lipparini, Arketipo pieces are built to be configured: choose the model, size and upholstery that suit your room, and each one is made for you.
