About the design

Set aside the name and everything that it conjures, and you are left with a chair that is the design brief few would ever accept, but yearn to attempt. Belair thus, is the design lovers’ dream, one who wants to experiment with contrasts and materials, one who feels that more can be done with raw design and one who feels that the art of relaxation can only be achieved if the environment is constructed to be as such. Belair then is a dialogue, one of oxymoron and sober simplicity.

Materials & specification

• Structure: metal, finishes: titanium or black nickel or varnished micaceous brown or oxy grey. Straps in grey or brown leatherette or in leather Leonardo, Dirt and Tribe.
• Upholstery armchair: expanded polyurethane of varied densities (D21M + OS40SCM + D40P + D18CDSS + D50 mind foam) covered with synthetic lining 230 gr and 100% downproof cotton cover filled with 100% natural feathers. A wooden panel is inserted in the seat filling. ARMCUSHIONS: 100% downproof white cotton cover filled with mixed feathers (50% natural feathers and 50% polyester fibre). POUF: expanded polyurethane of varied densities (D35 + OS40SCM + D40P + D50 mind foam), covered with synthetic lining 230 gr. and 100% downproof cotton cover filled with 100% natural feathers.

Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
