    The band sets the price, not the colour. Each upholstery option covers one or two Arketipo price categories and is priced at the higher of the two. Once you order, we'll go through Arketipo's fabrics and leathers in your band with you and confirm your exact choice before production starts. If you choose one from the lower-priced category, we refund the difference. Pelle B and Pelle Leonardo leathers are available on request.

    About the design

    A bold aesthetic that plays on the balance between rigor and abandon: the Wideboy sofa embodies a new vision of comfort, where theinspiration associated with the amplitude of volumes merges with exceptional sartorial care. The structure is defined by a series of panels, tightened by distinctive strap details that encircle its generous proportions. This thin and minimal structure accommodates by contrast a generous seat, designed to offer enveloping support that never loses its shape despite its large size. Wideboy ‘s seems to float lightly in space thanks to a base with invisible feet that lift the structure, giving it a striking suspended effect.

    • Structure: metal
    • Frame upholstery: expanded polyurethane T40P covered with coupled synthetic lining 6mm. ARMS AND BACK UPHOLSTERY quilted downproof 100% cotton cover, filling in feather blend (50% polyester fibre and 50% goose feathers)
    • Seat upholstery: multi-density expanded polyurethane (35EM + G401 + CD18SS + memory 28SR3) covered with cotton lining filled with 100% goose feathers and synthetic lining 3mm.
    • Springing: electrowelded mesh
    • Seat height: 41/46 cm (with feet h. 15,5 cm)
    • Arm height: 73 cm
    • Feet: supplied in 2 heights, 10,5 cm and 15,5 cm, both adjustable by 1 cm, finish oxy grey.
    Delivery & returns

    Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

    UK mainland delivery only.

    Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Arketipo is a Florentine workshop that brings artisan tailoring to contemporary upholstery. Sofas, armchairs and beds are made to order in Florence, with details such as double-faced cushions, zips and raw-cut leather edges finished by hand.

    Working with designers including Mauro Lipparini, Arketipo pieces are built to be configured: choose the model, size and upholstery that suit your room, and each one is made for you.
