    The band sets the price, not the colour. Each upholstery option covers one or two Arketipo price categories and is priced at the higher of the two. Once you order, we'll go through Arketipo's fabrics and leathers in your band with you and confirm your exact choice before production starts. If you choose one from the lower-priced category, we refund the difference. Pelle B and Pelle Leonardo leathers are available on request.

    About the design

    Described as “An energetic tune about needing gratification and fulfilment without concern for commitment” Fastlove was George’s way of showing just how powerful love can be. It can control everything about you and how you behave or react; in this we find a new way of appreciating things we may never have once understood. Fastlove is about that first moment, that impact, that very particular place and time we came to understand that there was something more. Fastlove by Giuseppe Viganò is more than just a design, a place where first love, a fast love happens. A place where freedom of expression is given space and where materials are respected and shown their own unique love and value. Zebrano or Eucalypto wood moulds along the base produce free flowing lines, cradling soft rippled leather or fabric cushions.

    Materials & specification

    • Structure: seat: metal; back and arms: wood.
    • Seat upholstery: multi-density expanded polyurethane (D40-31+VH35-50) covered with downproof white cotton lining filled with 50% goose feathers and 50% “Fiber Ball” (polyester fibres).
    • Back and arm upholstery: multi-density expanded polyurethane (HR35-36) covered with synthetic lining 280gr.
    • Back cushion upholstery: core in expanded polyurethane (NF21-20) covered with downproof white cotton lining filled with 50% goose feathers and 50% “Fiber Ball” (polyester fibres) and coupled lining 3mm.
    • Springing: electrowelded mesh.
    • Seat height: 44 cm.
    • Arm height: 61 cm.
    • Feet: metal, finishes: liquid burnished, micaceous brown or oxy grey varnished.
    • Shell: wood veneered in eucalyptus or zebrano or covered with any leather of Arketipo collection. ATTENTION: when the shell is covered with leather, the cover is not removable.

    Delivery & returns

    Made to order. Each Arketipo piece is made in Florence to your chosen configuration and upholstery. Delivery is approximately 7 weeks from order confirmation. Our team will contact you to arrange a date.

    UK mainland delivery only.

    Cancellations and returns. Because made-to-order pieces are made to your specification, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Giuseppe Viganò for Arketipo Firenze

    Arketipo is a Florentine workshop that brings artisan tailoring to contemporary upholstery. Sofas, armchairs and beds are made to order in Florence, with details such as double-faced cushions, zips and raw-cut leather edges finished by hand.

    Working with designers including Mauro Lipparini, Arketipo pieces are built to be configured: choose the model, size and upholstery that suit your room, and each one is made for you.
